What are the pros and cons for each one?

I need to buy an omnex transmitter for my Schwing but microtronic brought my attention since they are cheaper. And havent heard good comments on parts availability for omnex. What you guys think? Should i stay with omnex or should i buy microtronic?

If you switch to anthing other than omnex, you will be replacing a lot of parts, inlcuding time to wire the receiver to the pump electronic, and the transmitter to the remote box. Have you  talked to Schwing to see if they have any alternate vendors, that may be compatibale without too much trouble to install (where is Alex when you need him...)

give scanrico a call to covert to them its a simple plug and play set up and the standard remote schwing uses, I know they work with all types of schwing set ups from b/w, to comfort, to cpc2, and vector, I tested the set up for scanrico on my pump and all was needed was to in plug the received and plug in the adapter to the new receiver. hope this helps you

I second that, give Scanreco a call. Omnex wanted $1200 to replace the transmitter on our line pump, and another $800 for the charging dock... Picked up an entire radio/reciever combo from Scanreco for much less than that, installed!!!

Parts/service from Omnex is no longer a positive experience... stick with Scanreco or HBC

We just paid $2400 to have a Vector screen replaced. To much unnecessary bs on the pumps now.And the crap can't cut it on a pump.

I just took delivery of a 2013 schwing line pump. Opted for the microtronix... have a pump boss on the other line pump. The microtronix I ordered operates at a very low frequency. i have even seen it work underground. only used it a dozen times or so but so far its good in my book. Not quite as robust and tough as the pump boss though. Cost was comprabale with omenx. my dealer in California wired mine up and delivered it with the pump, great service.
