The harder the job is the better. And yes TT Raool is still in the business he is one of the best PB operators in the west and that includes Hawaii.

i curious what is wrong with that peticular Texas Boom?  Not tring to start shit,  just looks like a horizontal trimmie.  the only Texas boom ive heard of before was with hoses which never seemed like a good idea.

Why dont one of you rule breakers,  heros  e-mail these pictures to Bob Sanderson, and he will give you a long list of reasons not to do this.  I personally witnessed the fourth section of a fifty-two meter fall through a tenth floor deck from this kind of  stuipidity.  Break all the rules you want, remember the grave yard is full of heros.  Just my opinion, take it for what its worth, but dont say I didn't warn you.

Is that 5" coming off of the boom tip, then 5" T-Boom, and a 5-4 Ruff-Neck? Or is it a 5-4 reducing elbow on the tip, or maybe even a boom with 4.4 system? If no hoseman, why even use rubber? Why not another drop pipe off the T-boom? Also, would it not be better to have a longer hose between the pump's boom and the T-boom? That would allow for more leeway between the Boom Operator and the Crane Operator.

yes that is a 5" hose connecting the trapeze, the a 4 1/2" hose off the tip of the trapeze. you wouldnt want a drop pipe off the trapeze cause that just adds more weight plus the are others working around us and every once in a while you need to push the hose to a cretain area that needs more mudd. and no the boom is not 4.4 its five inch all the way, and we use only one hose from the boom to the trapeze to for a couple of reasons; one is simply to reduce the weight hanging on the placing boom, two more hose means more friction so the pressure is higher increasing the chance of blowing the hose. as long as you have a good crane operator who is steady and smooth a ten foot hose is plenty of leadway for any skilled operator.
