How many different sections of conveyor were you using? They look to be electric. If so, does the power come from the truck?

I have used that system once to remove a tearout in a basement through an egress window.I have to say it proved a very usefull tool, compared to the added manpower and 5 gal buckets.I can't remember but a major rental store had them.

they run by electric we usually have our service trucks wilder hook up too it but to lower the cost for the constractor they provided generators. we set up 13 sections thats 10 ft long. the system is good also that same job 2 monts ago we used the belt to take out 120 tons dirt that was digged out.

I don't know what a system like that would cost but I think it would be great to have! Seems like a lot of work but much better than buckets. Can one person lift a section?

hey seed i dont know how much they cost but they are made from aluminium so i think its pretty pricy. as far as lifting it i can carry 1 section alone but you can get tierd really quick seeing 1 section is 110lbs. so we have 2 guys to carry a section. also wight depends on the model of the belt the faster the havyer. the one we have is the slowest model the fastest one wighs 150lbs. i think it will do good here when it catches on but not many people believe in this system yet. so far the constractors that used it likes it very much.
