I am looking at purchasing a Morgan Concrete pump to suppllement a form rental business. The pump is older but appears to be in ok condition. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Are they decent pumps? Please give me some feedback.

Seriously, buy something that is still in production. Anything made by any of the folks on the right>>>----->

You would be better off with the oldest Schwing in America. Service - parts !

i agree with that bob... was like trying to get congress to pass a bill if you wanted parts and then to get the right ones was a miracle. i learned a lot by running/working on one. was nothing to run one for a couple hundred yards and work 3 or 4 hours fixing it that night to get ready for the next day.

What is it that is bad about Morgen? The pump appears to be in decent shape. The initial investment is $37500. I don't mind wrenching a little to get started and work into a better unit. Minpar out of Minniapolis has parts, Do you still say start with a different machine?

The pumps you have attached are not  truck mounted boom pumps. I am looking at a 31 meter boom truck mounted pumper. I have not seen one close to this price for a cheap starter unit.

There have been 44 meter pumps [newer than 2000] sold in these auctions for the same money you are talking about.

Just in case anyone has had a good experience with this pump, the model I am "considering" is a Morgen 115SV105 with remote.

OK, LAST TRY.

If all you want is someone to say something good about it, go to Yankton, SD.

Go ahead and buy it. I wish you well

spend your time and money on anything other than a morgan... look for good customer support, parts and speak with numerous people before buying a morgan. last thought.... don't buy a morgan

Sittsy consider this, As of 7:30 pm your post has been viewed 111 times with 15 negative replies! I am guessing the other 80% of viewers have no exp. w/morgans, and the other 7% probably own or run one. If they where a quality machine they would still be manufactured today.

if morgan made wheelbarrows i might operate one but not a concrete pump. I hope you don't have two shells in that shotgun or you will shoot yourself in the other foot too!!!
