Really sorry to hear about your best friend.  One of our neighbor's dogs about killed our female Jack Russell some time back.  Over $700 in Vet bills to get her sewed up.  Can't prove the guy's dog did it, but I am sure of it.  We live in NC as well and I didn't know about the law you mentioned.  I'm not worried, because all the other neighbors have assured me the other dog won't trott through their yards but once and his trotting days will be over.  I wish you luck in finding the breeder and a new relationship with a new friend.

You're a much nicer person than I.   I would've killed the other dog.

I hope everything works out for you...Sorry for your loss.

I feel your pain brother, I also lost my dog 5 weeks ago and as much as he would piss me off with all of the barking, I really miss him. Remember father time heals all sorrows. Keep your chin up. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss.... we put our 17 year old yellow lab Sonny Boy down in late January. It was a tough go.... Early July we adopted our Bella, an English Springer Spaniel.

We had forgotten how much happiness and joy a dog brings to our home....

God Bless Kneerick,

Big T and family
