you need to order a carb kit so you have it next time you need to get it running. the soft parts do not take well to sitting. just like a fuel pump diafram with the lever in the same posistion for a long while makes a future tear.

Before you store it buy and mix "sta-bil" fuel stabilizer in the take and run it until you are sure it gets to the carbs and you will not have no trouble. Or just start it once a week and let it run for about a half an hour.

You also need to get some stuff I believe called the puffer. It is sprayed directly into the carb and coats everything. I use it on my boat and it seems to work, use it along with the fuel stabilizer.

It's called fogging oil that is sprayed right into the cylinder block through the spark plug hole. I've never used it on my motorcycle but I have on my boat also. It keeps the cylinder walls from rusting over long storage. I've always spray it in the carb air intake while the boat is running until the it kills the engine then it is sucked into the carb good then I do the cylinders and thats the last thing I do. 1. full tank of gas with sta bil 2. spray carb 3. spray cylinders.
