hehehehe, wes we used to do up to 8 in the same tract subdivision. That was when they were building faster than folks could migrate to our area. Now a just pain?.They wanted individual tickets for each job with mud already there. It was a blast trying to unscramble the hour meter and speedo when done.

Wes i got called out to do a bridge deck in my 32M. They wanted to use the 42 but he couldnt fit in the shoulder and they didnt want to close a lane off. so i set up and moved 6 times and only finished half. as we were pouring the shoulder kept getting smaller. eventually they had no choice but to close the lane off, so i called the 42 out and he finished it up in a couple moves. Another time i poured 670 yards on a Sat. it was paving, I set up then moved 4 times!!!!!! At one time i was the only pump in town (32M) so everyone just made it work to avoid paying someone from OKC or DFW

Moving doesn't bother me a bit I poured 5 houses today and setup 5 times. In two different subdivisions. Hey its all on the clock, thats what they pay us for. we have to remember that we are to an extent a rental company. So we do what our customers ask of us, keep um happy and they keep our bank account supplied with numbers.

we do 2 - 3 moves a day , does anyone suck a ball back for a move?

i have always just been reversing concrete back to hopper , does anyone have any preferred method?

Russ,

You are right. You are being paid by your employer to do whatever the customer wishes (as long as it is safe). Moving 5 times is just more $$$ in the bank ;~)

Here is a shock to me, got a phone call to get specks on our 20m Concord, cute machine, I had to measure and time the machine so, 2min to set up 2min to tear down. I thought what did I miss, so did it twice, oops 1.7 min to set up 1.5 to tear down. I was in shock, but dry run on and set on concrete. Yes pads down.

Working on industrial sight now, what sucks right now is having to suck the ball back and move 5 or 6 times and only pump 50 yards, but the hours are great for the pocket book.
