The pump was 500' down this road. I smelled trouble when the beeping stopped and I seen the top of this little alder wiggled a bit. It is pretty tough back'n down a strait ROAD!

I had this happen on a job when I was in training. The driver thought he would find a better spot to park, it took 7 hours, one big tow truck and an excavator to get it out. One positive thing is the utility guys had a huge ditch to work in the bad is the owners of the drive were in AZ. for the winter and told the owner of the new home being built was and I quote" don't ruin the driveway". Remember that Joey,"shesa gonna come outa" the tow truck op said in his accent.

Was he on his cell phone? I think all of them stay on the phone. I have seen them at red lights on there phones, driving, when they pull up, when they back up and when the are discharging and spilling the mud all over the hopper. Something has to be done about the use of phones while working, My guys must leave there phones in the truck until break times. It got to where they spent more time on the phone/ texting than working.
