while my main truck is down I'm taking out a sidewinder trailer pump, its in fantastic shape, but has no remote or provisions for one looks like. some one must have re-routed lines and eliminated stuff, I'll have to do jobs line off site this week or have someone motion for me to turn off pumping as its just a manual valve. Does anyone have a instruction manual or diagrams of hose routing? the auger spins like a banshee while pumping, that cant be right

Barron, How old is the Sidewinder? I can email an early wiring circuit to Todd, he can forward it to you.

In regards to the remixer going too fast. There should be a small needle valve between the remixer hydraulic motor and the accumulator. This adjusts the remixer speed.

Didnt call Reed cause that would be easy, I'll look for needle valve today, yesterday was my first job with this pump, nice machine, pumps well..... will make a nice backup until I finish the repair of my other pump..... this machine was cheaper than the main hydro motor, who woulda thought. would love to have that wiring dia

also wired in a remote last night, figured out that the throttle solenoid has been removed, apparently that kicks the motor down when you turn the switch off. no idea what year it is

Barron, Your Sidewinder is an Australian Transcrete Sidewinder. A lot of those with the Hatz 108 series air cooled diesels were sold in the Bay area of Nt Cal.

It would have the ICB hydraulic brain on the end of the main hydraulic. It also should have a bullet proof Rexroth A7V78 piston pump. The wiring and hydraulic circuit will match most of that model. The only difference is the remixer was not fitted with forward/reverse valve, just the needle valve to reduce remixer speed.

Transcrete Los Angeles will have spare parts for that model, just advise them of it's manufactured source.

Happy pumping.

very cool, thanks for the info. I definatly need to add auger control, did not see a needle valve anywhere, it does look like there is one under the engine coming out of the block of one of the hydro cylinders, next to water box. I plan on beefing the frame up so I can put hoses on it and reducers, I've been spoiled by my big truck of being self contained

Barron, That needle valve near the flush box is not for the remixer. It only to fine tune the cylinders if they start to short stroke when the hydraulic cylinder rings wear.

That pump was from a batch of 50 pumps made for Japan. I emailed Todd a Japanese brochure showing your model.
