well right now i ran a T/A 650 peagravel pump, but i got a phone call from another pump company that wants me to come run one of there pumps. they only have booms right now but just purchased two truck mounted TK70 line pumps. i've got 3 years experience on a peagravel pump should i move up to a real pump? what do you think? |

Go for it. You can take a "ball valve" operator and put him straight on to a rock pump (s-tube) and he will have no problems. However .... it's very hard to take a rock pump operator and tell him to operate a ball valve machine. |

the jobs are bigger, the customers are regular and you can bail out a truck mix. do the ball pump on a saturday side job. sureflow has a tk-70 on a cabover, big pump. i wish that i could run my tkb-30 and make a living but its just not the real world anymore. |
