The hardest part about running a 63 is remembering how to unfold and fold the boom. I believe putz gives you a video on how to do it. |

finky, the most common problem that i have heard of is the truck unit. the toro mack seams to have problem, esp the ones with rear steer. theres a company in calgary that has had nothing but problems with there 61m putz. the truck is forever breaking down. trannys, clutch, drivesafts, and axles breaking.otherwise the putz pumps are my pick for quality operator freindly pumps. if you are not familiar with the big pumps, be aware of your ground condition. and the bounce test is the most foolish attempt at testing to see if the ground will hold you machine. dunnaging is the key to keeping the wheels on the ground. i operate a 55m and will be getting a 63m this year. in calgary our ground conditions can be terrible, and safe setups are the priority with me. priming can cause you issues with that big of stick. my addvice is to use your priming port and a priming agent, eg slick-pak slick willy or even good ol portland powder. hope this helps. good luck and be safe. |

Man, you got that right. If your outrigger sinks by bouncing the boom you had no business setting up that way to start with! |
