nice looking boom 45 or 47.hard to tell but looks like tip of stage 4 in a position not permitted by manufacturer anyway probably won,'t hurt with no mud in it all the best with the new steel.

those are some sweet machines!, I really like the paint scheme. What's up with the funky looking segment of pipe on the tip section of the 47 just before the impact elbow ?

It is your shut-off. Atleast it looks similiar to the one that came on a pump we got about 5 years ago. Ours was attached to the tip elbow though. Think it was a Conform? Am I right?

Looks like a much better place for an air cuff than off the tip elbow???

Congratulations and the very best of luck with your new pump. Is this a sign of our economy on the upturn?

never seen one mounted in line with the boom pipe like that.. I am guessing they do it that way to save weight versus hanging it off the tip elbow? Someone once told me that on the 47M Schwing, due to weight restrictions you could not get the optional boom light kit which is available on the 45M (not sure how true this is). I guess with every couple pounds being so critical on many of the long booms mounting the cuff in line would be a great weight saving solution. We have the conventional style that squeeze the discharge hose closed, they work great, but over time have a tendency to beat the sh&# out of the hoses.

TT some times is it better to place the Air-cuff on the last pipe , but sometime there is little mud in the last 2 benas and it Will allways fall out om the wrong place.... I have tested both , big pump om the last bend little pump on the last pipe .
