With all the hype about the macks, take a look at the new design, now called the terrapro you might change your opinion. Not much on the outside, kinda changed the headlight covers alittle, but the inside is totally redesigned. Cupholders, place to put a cooler, the middle engine cover is cut out on the front with everything laid out in front of you instead of on the side. It is still not a cab in which Vasa would be comfortable; but it is not the 'same old song' either.

From what Iv'e seen and heard. The inside does look much more operator friendly, cup holders etc... The outside design I'm not impressed with, was hoping for something a little more up to date. From what I understand they are using the new MP series motors, from the back it has alot more going on, possibly emission stuff. As for the pumping side of it. Heard a story of after doing the first job there were more lights flashing and beeping sounds than a jet airliner. I actually prefer the V-mac years, electronic injectors with good power, and no LOUD ANNOYING CLUTCH FAN.

I have seen a few of the new cabs but they still have the same issues/ fans, air and water leaks, factory installed ejection seat. They do look nicer inside and yes cup holders but unless you are Gumby they are in odd spots. If a truck builder polled 100 operators I am sure the design would be nicer and have more user friendly functions.

same cab as there original 1978 model when introduced.Where's the added leg room,more comfortable interior,windows that don't leak,along with the other issues.Still a garbage truck.

nice looking interior. havent gotten to see one up close yet. But as far as a cup holder nothing is better then taking your standard square sponge and cutting the center out of it. fits perfectly between doghouse and seat. it also insulates you drink to keep it from getting warm for extended period of time. try it out!
