I was thinking about new pumps today. I remember the feeling that I got when the company I used to work for gave me a brand new 38 Putz Z. It was great! It was like a rental. Never owning anything new it was a fun time. |

Fresh Paint. That is nice. Why don't companies rebuild their own equipment and through a fresh paint job on them. It seems a lot cheaper than paying for the new equipment? |

I know this was covered under another post but I will stir the pot again. We have a 07 38z putz and I had to run it for a week or so when the trans. went of of mine. WHAT A MISERABLE MACHINE!!!!
That engine fan is so freakin loud I wear my ear plugs when driving. I was talking on the phone to my wife while driving and that fan kicked on and she said what the hell is that...she could hardly hear me. Gof forbid you have to do a job standing in front of your machine.
The new decking that the use is dangerous. No diamond plate, its some kind of ribbed material that runs all one way. It is so freaking slick, conbine water, mud and form oil and it becomes an ice rink. I about fell several times.
There is no room for cribbing and various other stuff you have to carry. They did away with the 2 decks up by the turret. Thats where I carry my 6x6's on my 03 36 and it gives me plenty of room for extra hoses and stuff.
Mine is starting to get that cab rattle when driving so it was nice that the new one doesn't have that but who could tell cause it's so freaking loud!!!!!!!!
The auto greaser what nice though. :)

the 52m is the best pump putz has ever built it has not changed in 20yrs that should tell you something. |

There should be a law that says anything 47m and larger has to be 5 sections. When a big 4 section boom has to set close to a building and pour an eleveted floor that doesn't quite line up with the section lengths it is a big waste - 0 - boom. Chances are the Putz 52 could do the job better. ;~) |

OE Local 3, I hope that the 52Z coming to your yard works out well for you guys. I work for Interstate and run the 55 meter Putzmeister. I haven't got much else to say, but hopefully this works well for you guys. See you @ Bode |
