Very nice. That took some time to figure out the best way to do it. Just remember to support underneath the pipe by the clamp.

whats with the red piece between the boom hose and the slick line? is that a reducer?

boomhose is 4" clamp line is 4.5" clamp it is a clamp-reduction. both are 100mm inside. |

it is a long story the firm used to have nothing but putzmeister machines with all 4" lines then they started buying schwings , normaly with 4.5" clamps but they changed the lines of the schwings into 4" because they had all 4" materials. so they could exchange materials between pumps. a few years ago putzmeister stopped selling 4" materials so now i have different sizes of hoses and lines. I allways have two of those reducers on my pump. it is also easy when you have to connect to a grounddrill if they have a different size of clamp . |
