Take the s tube out. You need to learn how anyway. It should be done twice a year to relube and grease. If your not a mechanic sell it and hire a pumper.

I recently rebuilt a tk50 for a company that had been abused pretty good.  Only good thing about the machine was a little ingenuity someone possessed that operated it at one time had.  They had cut a hole in the back of the hopper so the s-tube could be swiveled up and chipped out then returned to position and hole sealed back up.  To reseal the hole they used a hydraulic tank access cover with some silicone. Seemed to work pretty good; probably would have sealed better if that person knew how to use a torch. Lol

PS ... Of course the agitator shaft, paddles, slewing lever and plungers have to be removed to do this

Normaly we train up our competitors but you are a true pioneer. You are going to learn everything the hard way just like they did. The thing with concrete pumping is when it goes well it all good but when it goes bad.... well keep ups updated and add some pictures. All of us will enjoy watching and hearing your stories. If you have any questions ask away. What type of concrete are you pouring, crused rock? River bed rock? what size rock?

Oh and a simple requiest also, please no cursing we try to keep a profesional message board here.

Thanks for posting and we would love to see some pictures of your pump.

Its not that hard to remove the s tube. Just unbolt the rear bushing plate and unbolt the tube bolts it will slide back and out. I did the same "plug up the s tube" when i first bought mine. I had to remove it and chiping hammer it out with a home made long air hammer.
