I have heard that in some states it is leagal for a concrete pump to use non-tax diesel. Can anyone tell me if that is true? |

I would have to say call your home state for there take on it.I believe you will find it all comes down to fuel tax and off road usage credit.I was moving a pump across Montana and stoped at the scales, yepper they sticked the tank looking for red fuel.Alot of the companies keep a good record of miles/hours on job tickets for that reason. |

I have not been breaking down off road vs. on road miles/hr. etc. sounds like a really good idea. I got my rig in july last yr. a was'nt even thinking about fuel credit. Does anybody out there have a daily form type sheet made up that I could copy thanks crete |

the computer in your truck will do that for you. The ACPA is working on getting back our off road fuel tax refunded. That alone is enough reason to join. We are all united in that cause. |

It seems to me (i am not at all sure) that more fuel is spent while pumping. On a personal level, I assume that since everyone is different; small pours & lots of miles, verses big yardage and stay in town I DON'T KNOW!!! What I do know is the computer in an E-Mack will tell you exactly how much fuel you burn in drive & in PTO. If you don't have the laptop setup then the service people at Mack can tell you. I figure it is the same with all the computer type engines on anyone's truck. I am interested in what the numbers actually end up being. ;~) |
