When you cut the stability calculations so close that the mud in the hopper is considered in the calculations and the next thing is how many pounds of air are in the tires....... (I know it doesn't work that way.) Ever wonder why some big booms have the small pipeline? |

Check out the guys leaning on the fence. "No worries guys. Just a boom pump with it's ass end about 20 feet in the air." "it's just another day in the hood" |

I think this is just a gravity clean out. They are waiting for the mud to run out of the system. |

Yea. That's probably it. Gravity clean out. |

Think so to.. Right front not all the way out.. And why?? And no pads on asfalt.. This is a completely retarded clown of an operator.. My 3 year old daughter could do that better... |

Hey what are you guys talking about? a) any signs of outrigger pads digging into the ground? NO. So surface OK. b) right-hand outrigger not fully extended? So what. Boom is 5 - 10 degrees over cab left! c) where is all the wet concrete dropping out of the hopper? Nothing! d) where is the truck mixer? where are signs of any wet concrete?
YOU know what I think? I reckon those guys brought in the pump and tried to use it as a crane. And then they found out that it's not a crane at all! That's what it all looks like.

That right out rigger seems like it not all the way out. Looks close to the tire. Who knows where boom was before she went. |

To me it looks like the right outlooker is the same distance from the curb as the other. Meaning its all the way out. Why wouldn't they? One thing for sure, there is a lot of leverage going on here. Poor design by the pump? i don't know. |

New way to empty the hopper. Flip it out. No I'm wrong the boom inspector is coming tomorrow to inspect the boom so they wanted to get it closer to the ground so he wouldn't have to stand on his ladder. |

baddassduramax | 03-28-2013 | reply profile send pm notify |
maybe the boom wasnt long enough so they made it an extended reach boom by lifting the rear of the truck |
||
thinksnow | 03-28-2013 | reply profile send pm notify |
yea that makes sense ! so when 2 cranes came to upright the pump did they stay and lift those plates ? so you got a boom pump bill and 2 crane bills! |
