Not a Pump picture but!

Being a part time Pro photographer, pumping brings me to some interesting areas. I have quite the collection of sites. I do love pumping, it just challenges the mind and you rub elbows with all sorts as most know from multi billionaires to just us. Here is a rare angle of our Lions Gate Bridge in North Vancouver BC. Normally this would be impossible with traffic. Thought I would share. I do find it hard to point the camera towards the machine, don't ask me why, I think 30+ years of concrete has numbed me to finding anything interesting about the machines them selves.

Cool shot. Your right about that, the sights are what really make the job worth wild. This shot was on the 13th. floor of the Encore when they imploded the Stardust.

Well being in N.Az I too get to all sorts of places to shoot as well. I occasionally shoot my pump if the area warrants it. Im not a pro shooter though. Mostly landscapes and wildlife.Shooting with a D300 right now and, if business ever picks up maybe a D700 or wahtever replaces it.

I will start with a few wildlife critters I find around our area. I do wonder off and look around during breaks.

We had a bridge to build, I was hired to take a bridge portrait. I wound up printing and framing this at 2ft by 10ft. I shot the tug boat down the river and blended it in to this making it a working river. It all turned out pretty good. I wanted to take my strobe out and do a night scene with this thing but time did not allow nor the funding for just the concept was too much. So daylight it was.

One for the American fans. We have the 2nd largest population of Eagles on the west coast next to Alaska. I shoot these critters all the time.
