I remember back in 98 an operator for a competator of ours died of cancer, he was young. They had a memorial service for him in one of the parks at mission bay in San diego. They brought his pump to the parking lot and stood it straight up during the service. That really brought home to me what it means to be a pump operator.

A guy like this brings a whole new meaning to the world of concrete pumping. It sounds like his life revolved around his family first, then pumping running a close second.
