tebequip : Original value and restored value all depend on what the market will pay, I guess. If it's all intact and isn't restored but has been indoors it's whole life will bring a greater number than one that's been sitting under an oak tree for 22 years... I ran into a guy last apring at a gas station going to the Portland swap meet - he had a '67 SS 396 convertible. It wasn't in the best shape, it spent half it's life indoors and the other half out... but everything was intact and ready for restoration. I offered him $30K and he said no way...lol restored, that car is worth $60+ |
