If you look in my hopper and the agitator is going backward it's because of a rocky mix - try to push more rock to the outside instead of toward the S-tube - the sound of the concrete hitting the grate tells me it's a rocky mix.

Isn't anyone reacting to the fact that the customer orders a WAY to small pump for such a big job?? What a cheap basterd!!

Yep To small of truck he probaly had to set up there to reach as far right as possible then they probaly did not want to stop pumping for him to reset. You know how people get. Auger going backwards that was pretty big pour he may have been there a while and had build up stopping forward rotaion.

tx- on a serious note here if u run the agitators that way all you will do on a sermac is starve the cylinders of concrete, making the machine draw air. if u have a stoney mix stick the chute in one corner, so the time the agitator has pushed it to the centre its had a good mix.  best pump ever for remixing bad concrete- thomsen
