Todd, You now face the choice that every concrete pumping company faces every day. Profit or safety. You can continue to sell these shirts in white, gray or black and make more money. or you can insist that any shirt with a CONCRETEPUMPING.COM logo on it is in a safety color. Step up to the line that you ask of your members. SAFETY BEFORE PROFIT PEOPLE MATTER MORE THAN $$$$$ |

Well 2 things, first I dont sell them and i dont make one cent on them. BereBones Makes them and sells them. I have not profited on them in any way. The only thing i have sold is one Skullgard hardhat and i sold it with a printed ConcretePumping.com logo on it and i lost $50.00 on it. The second point is that I personally only ware the ConcretePumping.com for show, i would never get concrete on it. You can ware a safety vest over your shirt. Good post Bob but no cigar.

i am not suggesting that YOU are in it for profit. What I am saying is that you have control over what tee-shirts the logo is printed on. If the Bare Bobes people are all about what we believe in they will print on the more expensive - domestic safety colors. Not the cheap ass generic colors. You have the ability to control where your logo is printed. Do the right thing. |

I dont think you understand how all of this works. Bare Bones is not making 10, 50 or 100 shirts, they sell clothing and safety gear. If you want any of their products you can buy them, if you want any of their products with the ConcretePumping.com logo on it you can get it. Jackets, shirts, safety vest what ever you want. I do not dictate what items only the logo that is used. |

Bob, you are exacltly on point. Safety colors are whats happening now....Sure shirts and hats are nice to give to your girls and boys. But the main objective is safety. |

Hey Todd I was looking at there site for hats and I couldn't find any different one's besides the one you have in the pictures on top! Do you think you could see if they make Flex-fit hats or could get them I know i personally like them a lot and a lot of my operators that's all they'll wear I'd appriciate it Todd. |

Todd, I DO know exactly how it works. "I do not dictate what items only the logo that is used." I am asking that you, as owner of the logo, DO dictate that all the tee-shirts be a safety color. You can If you so choose; you can make that difference. You can make them a safety statement. |

Bob, if i want to wear one on the weekend i dont want it in some UGLY safety color, so why should safety colors be the only choice? |
||
Bob | 07-02-2008 | reply profile send pm notify |
ugly is one of those "relative" words. Color is also in the eye of the beholder. |
||
Todd | 07-02-2008 | reply profile send pm notify |
Dont worry, use the logo on anything thing they sell. Pants to shirts, long sleeve to or short does not matter. You just buy it and tell them to put the logo on it. They will do it. |

So freedom to choose what color we want OUR shirt to be doesnt count then. I ve been on MANY jobs where a safety colored shirt wasnt enough, you also had to have on a reflective safety vest. a guess freedom of choice is in the eye of the beholder also |
