Hey Bob,

A couple of months ago you posted a picture of a pump that had got  into some power lines.  The pump was on fire and it was in  the middle of a resedential neighborhood.  Can you or somebody direct me to those pictures again??  The topic title was What? Wires?

Thanks, moose

Was there ever a point that someone suggested "maybe theres a safer way?" I think these pictures should be seen by everyone in the concrete industry. I had heard the mixer could become electricly charged but these are the first pics that I have ever seen proving it. Im glad that no one was hurt seriously.

Well thats true. We had a near miss some years back where during the right conditons the power jumped some 20 plus feet ( but the wind and rain played a large part) mixer drivers pants caught on fire, several tires melted quarter size holes from a split second arch. No one hurt. On this pic I gotta admit it's another pump out of the market. Hope no one was hurt. Good to see another ole 42M outta the market.

Try and focus on some of the good things in these images...

The dummy at least used his outrigger pads...
