photo number 6 from the top the old pump with the rubber hose at the turret is that what they call a gate valve pump? has 2 outlets down low. how do those old setups work ive only played with s valves. do they run some sort of trap doors down bottom of hopper? do the gates both open and close at same then push into lower cylinders or is it just one gate in the hopper into two pipes under the hopper? |

I'm not sure, these are my fathers photos. I've never ran any of those pumps before besides the Elba Pumps in some of the pictures |

I know the Gate valves have a felt seal that slides back and fourth for each cylinder. When it slides the one direction, the concrete falls into the cylinder, then it slides to the other side, closes the door sealing it with the felt seal and pushes the concrete through the boom. |
