i don't know about you, but i LOVE being woken up after a 16.5 hour shift that started the previous night by an answering service because i'm the on-call operator. the problem is, the company i'm on call for fired me a year and a half ago and apparently haven't updated their information.
and yes i took the high road and informed the after hour operator that i no longer work for said company. as opposed to getting all the job information and leaving them hanging. i might regret that tomorrow. HAHA ;~)

Sometimes doing the right thing is no fun at all, but it is still the right thing.

Good call JJJ ;~)

JJJ-

You did the good thing....I would have taken the info then rolled over and fell back asleep, giggling like a school girl.

Well, maybe not...

bob, imagine it though
riiiing riiiing "pump company x" ,"where's my pump?" " it's not there?, let me call the operator." shuffling through the schedule"JOHN B---S?!!!, oh no we got rid of him a long time ago!" screaming at the sky ala captain kirk "JOOOOOOOOOOOHN"
cut to me laughing maniacally after getting the call telling me how much of an ass hole i am. but at least this time it would have been true...hahahahahahahahahahhaha

If you were unemployed it would've been a good way to get your job back? Just think, you could've went in and jumped in your old pump and said "hey guys, thanks for call'n me back to work!"
