Todd

Do you still have the pics of this pump after the fire?

I shattered the windows out of a front discharge mixer with this old gate valve.
I was up on the 2ed floor pumping when the driver decided to take a nap or something. I seen concrete flying up over the mixer and the driver did not even notice. The third time she blow it shattered the window. I think the driver carped himself, tried to blame it on me said I had to pay for the window.

Nice pic, be interesting to also see the fire pics too. What a mess that was for King. I still run into a few of those old gate valve 28m Schwing pumps from time to time. It amazes me that that style of pump lasts for so long when maintained. My oldest one I believe was a 1979 model and it was still pumping. Thats testament to Schwing pumps and the value to dollar spent for it .
