BTW, what was the reason for removing the tip elbow?  To get closer to the pillars?  Or just to add an extra degree of difficulty?  Or to get guys like me to ask?

My guess as to why they took the tip 90's apart is...So that they had some swing in the direction they needed it..(Side to side,Instead of back and forth)...Just a guess!!
