Yup,I thought about the saddle and spurs.Then reality sunk in,I sure wouldn't want to repair the concrete and clean driveway.

Anybody out there think a "T"stand would help take some of that hose whipping out? Just a thought....

Yep. I've sometimes used 3 2x4 and a strap to secure it. Simple and you find at most sites so you don't have to carry anything.
On bigger stuff like 5.5" and pumping under water stuff we have used H-beams, but that requires more rigging, crane and a bigger job over longer time.
