Yes it is a voluntary program not manditory so nothing will change there will still be a bunch of hack operators flipping them... and so on. They should do province wide testing I am sure 50% would fail... |

I looked into it ,and as far as I know its offered through the IUOE in the oakville area.Trying to get more detailed info but the next available course is in Nov. |

I agree with 38 zman at least 50% would be gone. |

That union has been lobbying the goverment hard the past few years trying to get the trade accredited. That way when the trade training is mandatory, they will have full control over the industry like they have with the crane industry.
In a way its good what they are doing, but what they hope to accomplish in the end is their own agenda, bigger control, more members, more $$$$. |
