An operator today hit wires today and is seriously hurt. Let's all pray that he makes it through. All I know is that his hands and feet were burnt very bad. http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20090525/090525_electrocute/20090525/?hub=CP24Home Construction worker shocked, thrown 4.5 metresWeb Staff, cp24.com ![]() A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with burns to his hands and feet after he received an electric shock on the job early Monday afternoon. York Regional Police Sgt. Laurie Perks says the man was operating a crane used to pour concrete when the piping hit a live wire. He was working at a site in Richmond Hill near Yonge Street and Carville Road. The victim was thrown 4.5 metres, Perks says, landing in a pool of water -- which prevented emergency crews from getting to him right away. He was conscious and breathing when paramedics took him to hospital. His current condition is not known. |

Somewhere I saw a video on an operator that hit power lines.More of a story of his survival and experience after the fact.Perhaps this could be done with him.Power is no joke, thank goodness he survived. I wish only good for him and family. |
