i came out to eagle co for one year, wont mention the company, there were really great people and a first class employer, came out for a year cost me 10,000 round trip to make the move back and forth for the one year, basically there was not much work, i average 27 hours per week, so please be totally upfront with any potenial employee, i love the company and the peaople i met and co workers, but the trade off was not worth the exspense, i grossed 22,000 for one year of work, cost of move, 10,000, savings zero

You said it right Hunter... Some of these companies out there will paint you a beautiful picture and maybe even buy you a steak dinner while trying to get you to come aboard, knowing the whole time that they are not capable of keeping the employee busy full-time. But what loss is it to them??? They made it through the "busy spell" unscaved. Not taking into account what the employee sacrificed relocating.. That has happened to me more than once. Be careful out there guys, you have to look out for #1 because that is exactly what these companies are doing.

Just get it in Writing or have them pay moving cost and three months rent!!

You can of course ask yourself if it's wise to spend 10.000 on moving just for 1 year.. Did you take your whole house with you??

make sure too that these companies dont pay split time on your salaries. they get you that way to. specially when they arn't busy and make you do alot of pump maintence or yard work and pay you $10 a hour.
