743' of 4" steel pipe falling about 40' coming out of the hopper with 7" to 5" then 5" to 4" reducer then 1 12' rubber hose, the rest steel pipe 1900 lbs of sand 500 lbs of 3/8 pea gravel 525 lbs of cement 125 lbs of fly ash 10oz of air 10 " slump to start, then 8 " slump for the majority of the pour this job has no way to get to the pipe. if it plugs the plug has to be cut out, then replaced and re welded I am filling a 42" pipe, and there is only one end to work with.

Sounds like it should fly,my only concern is that much flyash. It aids the pumping but can spike the air content which can hamper the pumping.

Let us know how that job went,I have done a bunch. One was at the Henderson mine and plugged into there system. It was about a 1000' push and 20' to 30' sticks of 4".They used a D-7 to pull it out and swung with the pipe, rehooking. That was a task with a 3900 but good mix.

If you can snap some pics that would be cool too.

thanks for the reply's ,we are doing a test this afternoon. The luxury of not having any exposure to the pipe makes this task a 100% trouble free experience,or you are just flat on your face dead in the water. I feel like the mix design will justify this job pass or fail. The pump is up for the work at hand, and so is the operator. I will let you know how it goes... be good
