these's machine are design'd to be opperate'd useing..oss ebc.. so why not use them there there to make life simple... also there there to make thing's a lot safer for every one.. |

Cat, I agree with you but the ones that do not have them is where I think our accidents are coming from and its just like the hopper shutoff switch great to have but you should not rely on it , if its mechanical , electrical it can and will break or malfunction but I agree with you for the most part if you can do it safely why not do it,its the ones that do it and cant do it safely we are seeing have these accidents |

how do you carry on in high winds with oss- surely it cant take the same wind speeds/directions as fully extended outriggers? |

It's a b... to get in the cab with OSS, so I guess that's why you rigged it that way. For once it's nice to drive on the wrong side. :D |

The older tractor trailer pump were not equipped with OSS system, they had a sesor that would not allow you to lift the boom out of the cratle until you picked up the tractor up as a counter weight. Back when I ran tractor trailers I short rigged once did not feel good about it relocated the pump and set up correctly, cost the contractor some time but in the end it was SAFE!!!!!! Today I love the OSS system on our big booms we use it often with trees and traffic so far it has been bomb proof! |
