Does any of you guys run a pump that isn't a putz or a schwing? What do you guys think of them.. i have been curious about the other companys such as REED, PUMPSTAR, CONCORD, ect.... Would you rather run a schwing or a putz..

Reed and Concord both have excellent machines. The deciding factor should be a call to the service department of any company you are considering. Your envolvement with the sales people will be limited once you purchase. The service people are the ones that will make your operation a success or failure. Give them a call and just see how you are treated, what do they have to say. The other part service is parts availability. Do they have the parts? How much will it cost to ship to your location? Ask each company. The machine is just part of what you buy when you get a pump. ;~)

I use Elba's, I have 6 2-33's 2- 36's a 32 and a 44  very stocky, not like schwing, or putzs both I think are skinny and frail, Elba's are harder to get parts for but I swear by them they are simple yet effective, and durable, we back up alot of companies in our area when their pumps fail

I have said it many times before.  If you are the operator and/or the  one that has to be on the phone with the parts/service dept I would seriously look at the support after the sell.  After visiting Reed Manufacturing in Chino, CA and meeting everyone and walking thru their assembly line our decision to buy Reed was easy.  When I give them a call I just say, "this is Matt in Quincy" and they know me by my first name....not an account number....its great.  Oh, and the pump....its awesome.
