Just like I thought.... He was dicking with the outriggers before he folded up. Hate to say this but what a dumbass. Guess his lie of the outrigger breaking finally came out. |

Gotta agree with ya pink panther. If ya had the riggers out to do the job, then there's absolutely no reason to put them away before the booms down. If they were not out during the job, the guy should never get a truck to operate again cause it looks to me that the whole job is straight off the cab. |

I would want to say what a crazy looser... But I suddenly remember one incident in my green days when I had one of those days where everything and everyone was stressing me out like hell and I had to move the pump on site. I drove 20m forward with the outriggers up but still out. Then some f*cker finnisher comes nagging at my head again to hurry up and I unpacked the boom without putting down the outriggers. So I think I should keep my mouth shutt But it does really look like he did something really stupid.. Id say he pulled in the outrigger but the boom is hanging straight over it.. So how did he mannage that? It shouldn't have been possible to get the foot of the ground. The truck should have leaned over so far that the foot stayed on the ground making it impossible to pull it in. But if he never had the outrigger out but only straight down what is that dunnage doing there? |

Or he pulled the outrigger in and then moved the boom over it making the pump tipp over. If thats the case its quite an extreem mistake. At least I don't see a broken outriger.. |

I've watched this video no less than 15 times. I still cannot grasp why the operator would pull his outriggers in to adjust them with the boom in the air ? We are missing a part of this story, hopefully someone will fill in the missing blanks ? |

He probably sucked a sponge, got sidetracked by someone talking to him or some hot girl walking down the street and forgot what he was doing. But in order to do that, he had to go to the panel and switch it from remote. I am not sure unless he never had them out to begin with and forgot about it and swung that way. Either way, very costly mistake but nobody was injured. His sore knee he sustained does not count. |

But Dipstick, what have you against finish workers? I mean people from Finland. I like concreteworkers from Finland - they allways carry out and conect my hoses whithout drivel - a Swedish concreteworker does never do that - they prefer to send an sms to his girlfriend and wait, or just give a shit until i have hauld and conected all the 150m (450 ft or more) hose before the first mixertruck arrive at the pouringtime. I prefer concreteworkers from any country but not Sweden - Swedish concreteworkers ordered a concretepumper but i supose they want a slave that they can degrade. Not all of the Swedish concreteworkers is that lazy to pull out and conect all the hoses - but all their nagging about how heavy work they have.....give me a break. They don´t pull hoses every day - emty or full of concrete - i do it 14 - 16 hours 5 - 6 days a week and finish my day whith the jackhammer in the hopper every day in the warm summertime, until i finally (hungry sins 8 hours ago) can come home and get food anywhat my wife prepared for me. But of course, i´m not a fullblood Swedish guy - my mother comes from Finland. |

Haha. Are you joking? A ''finnisher'' is the same as a ''member of the placing crew'' I have nothing against finnish people!! In fact I love them. My biggest hero ever is Mika Hakkinen. Since I am a big racing fan you can imagine my love for people from finland. You know they say: If you want to win... deploy a Finn Finnland (so small as it is) has produced more F1 world champions than ANY other Nation. Thats heavy shit you know. Besides all this I love taking Sauna's (naked!! hahaha) There is only 1 country in the world where they do that all the time.. So.. Respect to the Finnish. Ill use the words crewmember from now on. |
