Our industries history is going to be lost forever unless someone steps up to the plate. I think the ACPA should get on top of this before its too late.

The history of concrete pumping in the world or at least in the USA is not written down. Somebody needs to make a book about or at least start to write down this stuff. Guys like Harvey Hoyer, Richard Obrien, Cross brothers and on and on, this history is being lost and it’s a shame.

I think that if enough of us press the ACPA they will get it done. The only bad part of having the ACPA do it is that it will have a ton of ads in the book but what’s new. I not really interested in seeing the first pumps, I would like to see bill cross with his first pump, Harvey Hoyer with his first pump and so on, and how they got started, when and where. We have so many great men in our industry that in the next 10 to 20 years from now will be gone. Let’s step it up and do something now.
