Compared to last winter I'm lovin every degree of it!

It's too damn hot for most though, especially the natives. No I dont mean the indians I mean the ones born & raised here. Starting early and leaving early is nice, the only afternoon jobs have been for some of the vatos locos, they dont seem to mind as much but they're moving even slower than usual.

Here's a good one, We had the same contractor schedule morning pours on the same project every day this week. Monday they started at 9am, Tues. 8am, yesterday they bumped it up to 7:00. I reminded them that their RM supplier would batch as early as 4am if they wanted. Today we started at 5:00 and I was gone by 8:30, tomorrow will be the same. Those boys will probably have pretty good buzz goin before noon, they looked pretty thirsty to me.

Hey man! Looking for some information? I'm from the Pacific NW, currently living in Texas. I want to move back home, but I dont know if there is any work up there! Or, what companies to look at. Iam just putting out some feelers. I saw your message and thought that maybe you could help! Thanks!!!

If the suppliers are putting Delvo in the contractors should be ordering it,cheap insuance.Delvo is pretty cheap insuance when one compares $ to patch work.

Hey Flint, If you got a pump to hang your hat in that's lucky enough to leave the yard and make you a pay check you better retract the feelers and stay put.

There's alot of operators out of work up here, not just pumpers either, we've got just as many calls from dirt & crane guys trying to get on a pump. The worst part is many of them have exhausted their unenjoyment claims and are forced to take whatever work they can. Some have even been forced into being mud haul'n mixercans.

The only reason I may seem busy is because I'm a twisted individual that suffers from a broken 'pump off' switch. If there's no cocncrete to pump I'll find a slab to jack, when I run out of grout I start pumping grease... and so on.  I do draw the line at gasoline, unless of course it needs to be pumped with a thirty six meter?

But if you're real bad homesick or have kids to miss there's only a couple outfits I can think of that might be worth a shot. A long shot?  "Pacific" had an ad posted here a while back in the "classified" section and "Ralphs" has had a few rehires and new hires?
