Just purchased two used pumps and am wanting to get them painted. Has anyone tried to do this themselves? I am located in midwest Ohio. Thanks.

Contact Irving Equipment. I'm not certain, but they might know a place big enough to handle that type of job.They're Ohio guys.

Ive repainted a couple pumps, but you need to media blast the metal and prep it correctly so it does not rust

like the blue on white.  though i would have painted the job boxs white.

I've painted or been a part of painting a pump or two , my experience , let the professionals handle it. Irving equipment can hook you up.

With you Beast.  Seen a couple back yard paint jobs.  Would have looked better if left alone.

I have painted three trailer pumps and i also have had one painted by a body shop. my job holds up way better then there spray job.  I always extream clean with a hot water pressure washer and have it snadblasted  anything that can be unbolted i get powder coated and everything else gets brushed and rolled witha foam roller goes on thick and holds up great. you can match the national paint coed from the powder coater to the paint for an exact match. Sherwin williams makes a great industrial enamel and primer.
