Remember the kid that always had an excuse for not having or doing whatever the assignment was for that day? There was always a valid reason why he did not have to do what the rest of us did. Well, he grew up to be a concrete pumper; you have probably met him.

Getting older is mandatory, growing up is optional. And no, I won't do your homework.... but I will explain the problem.

I hope that you all read the ACPA pdf and saved a copy for reference. It is all good info.

Dunnage usage is sort of like a 'speed limit'. The speed limit is the law. It applies to everyone and it is exceeded at your (and others) peril. So here you are driving on a flat, wide road. The traffic is light, you have not seen another car for a while. What do you do? What is going through your mind?

If you asked me I would say "I respectfully decline to answer that question on the grounds that the answer may incriminate me." Which is my right. Would I ever say otherwise? NO WAY.

What is it that YOU would do?

Weigh your desire to go faster, violating the law and possibly getting a ticket with the outcome of that which is possible wreck, injury, liability and higher insurance rates; or do you just set the cruise at the posted speed limit and go?

It is your choice every time.

One thing for sure, the guy that is responsible for safety instruction at Wsafedrivers.whatever is always going to say "Go the speedlimit." To do otherwise would be irresponsible.

Have a 'safe drive' this weekend. ;~)
