I remember someone telling me that Peterbilt never made/make a chassis bigger than a single tandem but what do I find, a tandem tandem sitting in the back compound of the Peterbilt dealership. Is this maybe a custom axle job? (not the greatest photo because it was a drive by snap shot) |

Totally Not True. There are some older 42 Meter pumps out there with tandem tandems on Petes.

we have a new 2012 putz 38 meter on a peterbilt 320 chassis. we did not want another mack and we have many pete flat beds and dump trucks. with a 400 cummins it is a beast on the road, and the locking differential and posi lock on the axles it will go in soft ground pretty good. we have had a few bugs that we are trying to get cleared up with pete but all in all we are happy with it. it rides a 100 percent better than the macks we have |
