I think that the method shown in the video is a good way to do it. Water is much safer |

We tried this way today without using the nonreturn valve and we used sponge ball instead of cements bags and it is failed I don't know what is the reason the pious line has been stucked and concrete are not going Out or can be reversed so we had to remove the pipes to clean the line |

Shady: The reason sponge balls won't work is that they are porous (like lightweight) and water will not only go around them, but under high pressure, through them! We used newspaper slugs ( wet newspaper wadded up then more wet newspaper wrapped around the wad) that were 2" larger than the hose. You would then shove (BEAT) them into the hose with the handle of your hammer and with an hose adapter, and use house water pressure to clean out longline (200') 3"hoses! The more pressure you put on these slugs made them tighter! Of course, some water would leak by, but thats how we could gauge where the slug was! If the water leaked out fast, well, you know how that went! Trial and error taught us that you really could get the slug right by beating the paper in! We weren't allowed to use air! But that was then... |

i dont know if its safe to do it, but you could always try to put a go-devil in place of the sponge. Might shoot out the end pretty good though, but it would make a good water tight seal for sure. |
