Your best customer always pays the highest price. Usually, not always but usually one company or the other will give a lower price to a potential customer that he has not been able to cultivate. The work, even though it is cheap is work that they would not have otherwise pumped. The best way to counter that action, if you are the injured party, is to give that same price to the best customer of the guy that ripped off your customer. You need to be sure to tell the company that you are quoting that 'so and so pumping' is pumping elsewhere for that price. Even if you fail to get the work the pumping company that ripped you off is in for some hard times from his "best customer". |
