Anybody ever heard of powder coating a hopper? I'm fixin to replace material cylinders and figured if I'm gonna have everything apart I'm gonna make it look like new when I put it back together. I know a guy that powder coats and the hopper will fit in his oven after I take it apart. I think it would stand up to the elements better than paint. What do y'all think? |

Txredman My Line Dragons are powder coated it makes them super easy to clean up. the powder coat makes it so smooth that the concrete can't stick to them. I think if you do powder coat the hopper you will like it. Let us know. Post a pic. |

I would do it. Powdercoating holds up much better to oil, grease, wear and doesn't go all 'mooshy' like normal paint does because the high alkali solution concrete is. |

a friend of mine has painted the hoppers with an American product called LIC30. It is an acrylic enamel and he reckons it is brilliant. You can hit it with a hammer without chipping. |
