Does anyone know to get the pressure gauge on the remote to work on a 99' Schwing 42 Meter boom ? The pressure gauge isn't working on the remote, and I dont have a clue how to fix it. Thanks |

Check your pressure transducer its an electrical plug located behind your pressure guage on the pump, or at least thats where its located on my 06 39m i'd check your parts book/manuel to locate it for sure on the 42 not familiar with that style layout |

Where on the truck are you talking about? The mechanical gauge on the brain? or the LCD screen on the CPC2 panel? or the Accumulator Pressure gauge on the back of the pump? |

does your pressure guage on the cpc2 lcd screen work? if so id say you have a problem with your remote box. if its not working there then id follow the pressure line for the mechanical guage starting at the brain, follow it till you see that line has a t with an electrical plug that elect plug should be your pressure transducer wich tells the cpc2 what the pressure is. ill take a picture of the plug your looking for when i get to work later today for you. |

on the 42 there isn't an electrical plug on the brain near the mechanical gauge but all the hydraulics run to the rear of the truck. attached is a picture. under the pump forward and reverse there is a plug that looks like its hooked right at the bottom of the pump block. could that perhaps be the transducer plug your speaking of? |

I found the transducer but I think I have bigger problems than that. I don't have temp, rpm, or pressure on remote. on back panel temp works but rpm doesn't. |

Dont rely on those electronics to dictate your daily operation of the concrete pump, rely on your eyes, ears, nose, and ass to "feel" your machine. |

I dont rely on the readouts. I do listen to the truck, watch the mixers, watch the boom, watch the hose guy, watch for hazards. Listen to the pump shifting, Listen for an RPM change (plug). |

Very good, thanks for maintaining your equipment ......I used to watch the position of the muffler flap to determine the engine speed,in high noise areas. |

yeah, none of the pumps in our fleet have muffler flaps... thats a great idea though |

talked with a guy from schwing and he said it sounds like my reset switch may be bad. I'm gonna try to swap it out and see what happens |
