Just curious Ahssci, how did you calculate your rates and what factors (costs) did you use when you did your calculation? |

Too bad this industry cant. Come to some. Pricing agreement as a whole .but then it would relie on service . |

topgun | 07-24-2014 | reply profile send pm notify |
BBCP should change there colors to black and silver. Cause everybody thinks they are the bad guys. When the reality of it is our pricing is probably higher than the rest.. those colors would look good tho... |

you know everyomne puts down on the big dogs , but I know our prices in our market are by far higher than everyone elses , but we are accused of price gouging because we are getting the lions share of the work , I am by NO means a BB fan , but have to side with them on this one , they are one company , they alone are not keeping pricing down , look in the mirrors guys , its more than just them. |
||
ahssci | 07-24-2014 | reply profile send pm notify |
If I could, I would. You need to stay within everyone elses price or leave them parked. Seems to be working so far. |

In !979 the price was $115.00 hr and $1.25 a yard for a 32m.no fuel charge. |
||
Doug | 07-25-2014 | reply profile send pm notify |
That's what I would have guessed. Just charge (and probably be willing to cut a little) what the other guys charge. No consideration of costs beyond the payment and maybe fuel. |

Just lost a job to another company, $165 hr flat rate, $100 travel, no minimums. For a 39M. I was asked to sharpen my pencil and I told them its as sharp as it will get and you know my rates when you need me. |

I find it interesting you are able to charge more for commercial than residential Ti-so, why is that? Usually it is the commercial work that is more competitive and more difficult to get your price on. |

Ti-so | 09-07-2014 | reply profile send pm notify |
Residentiel generally pay faster then commercial and on residentiel you charge 4hours for 2hours of work |
