Pride in the Industry.

As most of you know Putzmeister sent machines from USA and Germany to help with the disaster. PMJ has taken charge of the task and is controlling the refitting of the needs that are particular to this job site in support of TEPCO.

It was a privilege to be part of the team to facilitate the units from USA to Japan and conduct training of the personnel that will take care of the operation and maint of the units.

I do also want to make a comment of Pride to the fellow friends and Pump Team mates in the North American region.

As I am sure this is the case in Germany and all over Europe, It is with great pride to be part of a community that has been calling me and e-mailing me to offer help and support to the Japanese in way of volunteering to help with the units, We have a group of  guys young and older,  that have offered to help. Those are to be commended for their support, You know who you are.

I have forwarded these offers to PMJ and they are graciously acknowledged and appreciated.

At this time Japan also has guys that love their country and Pumping concrete and are willing and ready to do the job at hand, they also look forward to operating the largest pump to set foot in Japan, we are able to provide global support to the Japanese in their endeavors to complete their task.

So from TT and the whole of PMA I want to say

Thanks for your Pride in the Industry and love for fellowman.

Way to go TravelTeck. Looking forward to the boomcam photo's and how they set up the pump's on the site.
