One of the first things that many companies do away with in troubled times is boom inspections. This is a really bad idea. With that thought in mind I am officially lobbying our pal TODD to list boom inspection companies around the country. I hope that this doesn’t turn into a list of people that went to a class and PRESTO, they are inspectors. This needs to be a listing of professional people that are certified to not only to do the inspection, but to do the repair as well. If y’all know the real scoop on one or more of these companies, POST IT! Thanks, and be careful out there. ;~) |

My thoughts; no one but the manufacturer themselves is touching my boom. Can others please share their opinions on outside boom inspectors. |

Having been around many factory boom inspectors I can say they are tops in there field. They know the right spots on there companys booms.I couldn't imagine purchasing a unit without a current inspection. It's strange that booms are very sound these days and people just take them for granted. |
