I just started working for this good sized company, They have a 32m shwg with a 1200 cell pumps great,They are looking at a 28m with a 900 cell . We do mostly our own slab work.Just wondering what your thoughts are on pumping light weight threw boom and 200-300 feet of line with 900 cell. |

should be no prob if it is all 5 inch line and they presoak it like they are supposed to. just keep it wet at the hopper and you will be fine. |

It'll pump everything that your 1200 pumps, just with a lower maximum output. |

I don't think they call it a 1200 cell though, maybe I'm wrong, but I thought Putz. were 16 and 20 cell based on the number of cells in the swash plate in the pumps (125 or 180) and schwing's numbers were the surface area in mm of the piston. Is that right? |

Yes Schwings pump numbers (1200, 1000, 900, 750...) have nothing to do with "pump cells". If you're talking "pump cells" you're talking Putzmiester and other knock offs, apples and oranges. |

Check the kidneyseal and cuttingring and spectacelplate and there should be no problem.... It should be no problem at all . I have pumped 1100` 4" steel + 100`4" rubber... And 180 meter of 3" hose through a boom 23-4... With a BPL 900... |
