I wanted to update my post from several days ago.  Thank you to the two companies who expressed an interest in me.  They are both out of the USA and therefore not a possibilty for me. I am still looking for work, but only in the Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia area. I am moving there in two weeks.  My wife has already found work there. Woo Hoo! I have a current CDL Class A-NPT license and a current physical. I can pass a drug test. Extensive experience with Schwing pumps and Putzmeister 105 Telebelts. I am also able to repair the truck that the pump or belt is mounted to! My last job,(Merli-Vegas) included a company cell phone, take home service truck, on call 24-7. It is a union shop and I had an outstanding mentor.  I am Schwing certified level 2.  We even had some older black and white gate machines! I log in here nearly every day and am eager to work! Sorry this is so long, Thanks in advance for any help/referrals.

Good luck TrukDoc. There's been alot of iron parked up here in the NW for a while now.

Considering it's monsoon season with more dark than daylight you might consider planting a few seeds outside of the pumping biz just for back up.

There's plenty of trucks that need doctorin that are not so dependant on the const./building market. State/County/City motor pools or some long haul shops maybe? I hope you get hired  your first day in town,  aint nothin worse than movin somewhere new and starvin!

Your'e not kidding. 17 pump companies in and around the Omaha area and no one was hiring.  About a dozen pump companies in Seattle area and none are hiring now either. There were some that said they would be looking come spring, so that was encouraging. You said you worked in Vegas for 20 years.  Are you still there?  Maybe you know some of my friends!
